We wanted the site to have a memorable name with weightlifting significance. In celebration of the world-record snatch in the heaviest men’s weight category (105kg+) by Iranian double Olympic champion Hossein Rezazadeh (right) in 2003, we called it 213kg. Although the record has been broken recently it’s a benchmark that won’t easily be erased.
Foot measurement
213kg.com is run by David Nesling, based in Andover, UK. 213kg concentrates on supplying functional, performance weightlifting shoes from the highly dependable brand Do-Win. Customer service is our focus, please, do take time to read our reviews. Our foot measurement process ensures a 95% plus right size first time fit ! Please call David for the information, or read below. We always ask customers and potential customers to measure their foot length in a particular way to ascertain shoe sizing. Basically, bare footed put your big toe against something true, straight and immovable (e.g. skirting board). Standing straight ask someone to put another free standing straight edge so it is; 1. Just touching the back of your heel and 2. Is running parallel with the skirting board. Then measure the shortest distance (the perpendicular) between the two parallel straight edges. (See diagram on home page length A) Repeat to ensure consistent measurement, then repeat for other foot. There probably will be a slight variation in sizing. Always go with the longer length.
Let me know your measurement and we can discuss best styles and sizing. Kind regards David (07808020930)
