A specialist shoe for weight, power, resistance,
fitness training.

A non–slip rubber outsole and wooden heel wedge (heel raised 3/4'' above forefoot) provides a stable lifting platform for all weightlifters and power athletes who spend considerable time in the gym. Additional velcro fastening for extra stability.

Why weightlifting shoes?

Weightlifters have realised that a shoe with a raised heel to allow the flat footed" tilting of the shin was required for more balanced, consistent and heavier lifts.

Why 213kg.com?

Why 213kg? We wanted the site to have a memorable name with weightlifting significance. In 2010, in celebration of the then current world record snatch in the heaviest men's weight category (105kg+) by Iranian double Olympic champion Hossein Rezazadeh in 2003, we called it 213kg. Although the record has been broken recently it's a benchmark that won't easily be erased. Gong Lu II, Zhu Zai and Song Yong.
